This is not your everyday yard sale...
Everything except a few items are purchased by DONATION. (Some items have a suggested minimum donation, which we request that you consider.)
The general idea is this:
ALL PROCEEDS WILL BENEFIT ANTI-HUMAN-TRAFFICKING EFFORTS (at-risk kids in Haiti through World Vision; Luz y Vida orphanage in Bogata, Columbia; and Women At Risk International).
Get yourself an armload or boxload of deals and simply be as generous as you can, knowing it’s all going to good causes, toward ending human trafficking and helping vulnerable children who are at risk for trafficking.

Several families who have moved recently have contributed a LOT of items to this sale, with other families and individuals continuing to bring donated items right up to sale day.

ITEMS:
Furniture (desk, girl's dresser)
Children's (mostly pre-teen boy, and girls 6X/7, 8, and 10), women's (mostly M & L), & men's (mostly L) clothing
Household goods of all kinds
Linens (towels, bed-sheets, blankets, pillows, etc.)
Antiques (not really "collectibles" but definitely a lot of vintage stuff)
Sports equipment (balls, bats, variety of sports)
Kitchen/cooking items.
Outdoor living/camping items.
So many items.

NOTES TO EARLYBIRDS (WE LOVE 'EM!):
We apologize in advance, but we are not going to be equipped or staffed to take offers for items before the sale day.
Also we are NOT going to be ready and set up for EARLYBIRDS. IF YOU SHOW UP EARLY, WE'RE GOING TO ASSUME YOU HAVE COME TO VOLUNTEER YOUR HELP TO SET UP and set out sale items. We know folks like to get an early start on their day for yard-sale-ing and we like doing that, too. However, due to the amount of stuff, the particular location (it's not at any of our houses, but is on the discus field provided to us for use for the day by the McCallie School), and the number of volunteers (we need more!), we simply can't be ready for early people. You're welcome to peruse items as you set them out and even set them aside to purchase once the sale begins; but please don't come early thinking you're going to have leisurely/early shopping time. Thanks for understanding!

WE ARE LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEERS:
If fighting human trafficking is on your heart, we are looking for helpers for set up (Fri. 9/20 and early Sat 9/21), the sale day itself (9 AM - 4 PM) and clean-up (after 4 PM on 9/21). We need a truck beforehand to haul items to the sale and a truck after the sale to deliver any unsold items to the designated donation center (Family Promise). To volunteer, please use the contact info in this listing.

We also hope you will share this message (post on your FB page, share on Instagram, tweet about it, share in your local groups, etc.). The more shoppers we have and the more people who know about it, the more people are exposed to the concept of fighting human trafficking. It's a wonderful opportunity for our community to do something concrete and helpful for a very vulnerable population.
