Getting a Permit for a sale

With a very strong garage sale season well under way you should always check with the rest of the neighborhood and the proper authorities to make sure that you have the required permit if neccessary.

"For example some upscale cities, such as Beverly Hills, California, and Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, require that the homeowners apply and pay for a yard sale permit, and even with that homeowners in most neighborhoods who are charged for a permit can still only hold yard sales in the back of their homes and our issued a limited number of permits. Typically these permits cost only ten dollars."

However, with this garage sale season heating up to be stronger than ever a lot of municipalities and neighborhoods have sought to issue less permits in hopes of unclogging the neighborhoods on the weekends from unwanted traffic by other neighbors.

Advertising a Garage sale or Yard Sale with the ultimate signage

Obviously advertising your garage sales or yard sale is of the utmost importance to attract attention beyond those that just drive by. However, this signage is one of the most impressive that I have ever seen. I don't think too many people will drive by and miss the sign because its too small but remember not all of your traffic for your garage sale will drive by and thats why the importance of listing your sale on the internet to get the greatest exposure and the widest reach of audiences that may attend your sale.
