To some novices you might be surprised about the hidden treasures to be had for next to nothing at a Garage Sale and unlike a retail store prices are all negotiable.

The savings from shopping at Garage Sales will ultimately add up in the long run and the money you may make selling off your old junk will certainly help at the end of the day.

At a sale you may wonder why someone would purchase some of these items sitting on the lawn in front of you and than you may think back to some prior purchases you made and how much you spent at the time you purchased some of the same items that lie before you.

The National Endowment for Financial Education® (NEFE®) has launched a site for all of you bargain hunters called Spendster.org that gives everybody the chance to confess about what they unnecessarily purchased and how much you have saved from being frugally sound.

Invite anyone to share their savings and make a video for the site showcasing their dollars saved thanks to Yard Sales. Feel free to showcase a video of great finds you recently purchased and how much you saved in comparison to going to the store.
